Managing a large soccer facility

THE ST. LOUIS YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (SLYSA) LEAGUE owns and operates a 104-acre, all-soccer facility, consisting of 16 11 v 11 full-sized fields and one small-sided 8 v 8 field. We also lease 24 acres next to our complex and have three 11 v 11 and four 8 v 8 fields at this location. Along with these fields we still rent a number of fields from eight other facilities in the St. Louis area. Click here

We at the Saint Louis Youth Soccer Association Complex take great pride in the investment that has been in trusted in our hands by the clubs and their Board of Directors. Without the clubs, the players, the referees, the staff both in the office and at the complex, volunteers, and the sports facility itself, there would be no reason to boost of the accomplishments that the SLYSA community has made in the last thirty-five years since its conception. The hopes, dreams, and the hard work of many people involved in the past, is the reason we have the soccer facility today.

At the facility, the mission of the operations and grounds staff is two fold;

• provide the highest quality, safe, competitive playing fields possible
• provide a facility that answers the needs of the patrons, and an enjoyable experience while in the park.

This page of the new web-site will include articles to keep you updated on the complex, it’s changes and developments both in turf and infrastructure. Show how we compare to other complexes, savings on expenses and labor cost. Updates on new items at the concession stand and post the specialty sandwich of the month.
