New Lou Fusz U9 Girls Team Forming for 2013-2014 Season
We are looking for 5-6 quality players to join an established core group of highly experienced girls who play possession-style soccer using the entire field. We’re interested in girls who have overall athletic ability, show soccer foot skills, exhibit an ability to see the “whole field,” understand team concepts, have a passion for soccer, and also show “coachability” and a commitment to our team.
Training will be consistent with USSF four-stage teaching model: Warm-Up, Small-Sided Activity, Expanded Small-Sided Activity, and “The Game.” We’ll practice twice per week while playing fall and spring SLYSA. In the winter, we’ll participate in a futsal league and/or indoor tournaments.
Our coaches are Jeff Tottleben and Keith White. Jeff has his National D license working toward finishing C this summer. Keith has four years experience coaching youth soccer. Both are established, high-level coaches who teach skills and strategy while using positive feedback to motivate the girls to have fun and perform at their best.
Our Kick-Arounds will be at Lou Fusz Soccer Complex in Maryland Heights:
Tuesday, May 14th @ 5:30-7:00 P.M.
Thursday, May 23rd @ 5:30-7:00 P.M.
Thursday, May 30th @ 5:30-7:00 P.M.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Amy via email.
