SLYSA FUTSAL LEAGUE INFORMATION

SLYSA'S 2022-23 FUTSAL LEAGUE APPLICATION

• Schedule will be available here: 
• SLYSA Futsal League will play between December 3, 2022 to February 5, 2023.
• *SLYSA futsal will not schedule games December 24th & 25th.
• *SLYSA futsal will not schedule any games after 3pm on December 31st.
• *SLYSA futsal will not play any games before 12 noon on January 1st, 2023.

AGES: Boys & Girls, U8-U14

FEES: U8-U14 and younger $662 (6 games schedule)

LEAGUE APPLICATION TIMELINE

• 9/23, 2022 - Post Application 
• 10/28, 2022 - Application Deadline
• 10/31-11/2, 2022 - Office Bracketing
• 11/2, 2022 - Send brackets to Directors & Coaches
• 11/7, 2022 - Conflicts dates due/Drop deadline. Any team dropping after 10/28 will be charged a withdrawal fee ($200).
• 11/8-11/18, 2022 - Scheduling
• 11/18, 2022 - Post Schedules 
• 12/3, 2022 - League Begins
• 12/16/2022 - LEAGUE PAYMENTS DUE
• 2/5, 2023 (Feb 11-12 if needed for reschedules) - League Ends

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• NO additional cost for player cards for teams (players) that are USYS registered and play in the SLYSA fall league.
• NO conflicts with SLYSA League games (winter or spring)

ROSTER LIMIT:

• U8-U14: 18 players

GAMES:

• 6 game schedule
• 4 conflict dates
• Two 24 minutes halves with a running clock

RULES:

• Teams must have at least 5 players to start a game
• Players must wear indoor or flat bottom soccer shoes/sneakers (no cleats allowed)
• U8 through U12 use size 3 balls
• U13 through U14 use size 4 balls
• Home team listed first must change jerseys if colors are conflicting
• Matches will be forfeited if a team does not have enough players within the 5 minute grace period from the scheduled start time*
• *The score of forfeited games will be recorded as 2-0 ($170 forfeit fee)
• Teams forfeiting a match for any reason will not receive a refund of any kind
• 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 point is awarded for a tie and 0 points for a loss
• Heading the ball is prohibited for ages U11 and younger
